ProHD Workflow
Our
workflow is based around the ProHd format. If you are looking for a
professional 'film' look rather than the
amateuer
'video' look, ProHD is the solution. ProHD cameras record
progressive (full frame) images rather than interlaced (two field)
images at 24, 25, 30, 50 or 60 frames per second. This
provides
better
resolution and film-like motion as well as being the format used by
most modern HDTVs. And with JVC's new 200 series cameras that
can
shoot
up to 50 and 60 frames per second, you can also film images for slow
motion
analysis.
ProHD
is used the world over by independent filmmakers looking for a
cinematic feel to their productions, with also the option of 24p being
transferred to film for a theatrical release. A most recent
example is the 2007 Oscar Award winning documentary An Inconvenient Truth
which was shot using a JVC GY-HD 100 series
camera (click

Tapeless Workflow
We
also operate
a tapeless
workflow with use of external harddrives, in addition to traditional
tape archival. Tapeless acquisition has many advantages, most notably
the speed involved when reviewing and ingesting footage into editing
software, making for faster post-production timeframes.

IDX X3-Lite
The X3-Lite is a revolutionary
professional on-board camera light utilising high-powered LED
technology. The output is the equivalent to a 35W halogen bulb at
‘daylight’ temperature while only requiring 11W of

DR-HD100 Portable DTE Recorder brings Direct To Edit® recording

4 x 4/4 : 3 Indikit Pro Mattebox
This matte box has 2 removable and
adjustable top French flags. A long flag at 420mm wide and a short flag
at 310mm.
The
two side flags screw directly onto the adjustable bars at the side of
the matte box. The adjustable leaf on the side flags can be pulled out
to rest flush against the top flag, no matter what angle it is set at.
This gives you maximum control over light spills from both sides of the
camera.

HAGUE D5 Dolly and track
Includes 8 radial ball bearing wheels and two sets of locating holes
for the tripod legs, so it can be used in both high and low positions.
The dollies width has been set to allow it to go through
doorways, it has its own levelling system which prevents any
rocking should the
track be on uneven ground. It runs on inexpensive 40mm PVC pipe which
can be supplied or is available from DIY stores.

DATAVIDEO CKL-100
Dual Colour Light Ring & Retro Reflective Cloth (+stands)
Datavideo CKL-100 is a combination of a dual colour (Green &
Blue)
LED ring and a unique retro-reflectiveback drop cloth, which is
embedded with tiny glass beads.
The LED light ring is mounted on the lens of the camera and projects a
highly directional green or blue light on the back drop cloth that is
then reflected back to the camera creating a perfect green or blue
background, providing you with an excellent keying result with very
little effort.
The 3m(w) x 2.5m(h) unique retro-reflective back drop will allow you to
get away with having the odd crease lin, and the whole system is
extremely quick to set up. |

SGPro 35mm adapter
SGpro is a 35mm Image Converter/Adapter, allowing the use of 35mm SLR
lenses on the JVCGYHD201 camcorder, so as to create a shallow Depth of
Field (DOF) and allow a wide range of focal lengths, the combination of
which produces a cinematic feel to the footage.

Follow-focus
A follow focus is used as a focusing aid giving precise and accurate
control over the focus of a 35mm lens. It includes a 90mm diameter
marking disk.

B&W Vinyl Clapper
A high
quality white vinyl clapperboard
measuring 11" long by 9.5" wide. All information can be written
directly to the board with the Drywipe pen supplied secured to the back
of the board by velcro. All
key categories are engraved into the board: Producer / Roll / Scene /
Take / Director / Camera / Date / Day / Nite / Int / Ext / Mos / Filter
/ Sync. The clap-sticks are also magnetized so as to provide
a sharp audible clap with no bounce.
