We have finally found the time and established a simple workflow for
embedding meta data to flash or any other video files. All
videos being hosted on this site (28 in total) are now accompanied by
meta data, which helps with search engine optimisation. We
have
also added our latest 2008 - 2010 showreel to the front
page, and put our older 2005 - 2008 showreel on the Films page. There is an
official showreel in the works that will cover all that we do.

In April 2009, Chris Martin and Mick Dawson set off from Choshi in
Japan and rowed 6000 miles to San Francisco’s
Golden Gate Bridge, becoming the first ocean rowing
boat ever to complete this feat.
Upon their arrival back in the UK, Parkes Productions Ltd were assigned
to go through the 20 hours of onboard footage and put together a
teaser/trailer of their epic journey, detailing the challenges, the
sealife, the depravations, the dangers and the humour of their record
setting voyage. The result is the trailer '189 Days in May'
that you can see on YouTube
(below) and here
on this website. The music is composed by Iain Cameron.

2009 We have launched a completely
revamped Services
section with the catchphrase 'We
just make it look expensive'

very expensive! Which is a great compliment, but also a
little
misleading. The new services area contains not only pricing guides but
also many examples clips.
This
is part
of a general clean up of the site to keep it current and user friendly.
Since we cannot test it on every system, if you discover any
issues, corrections, missing links etc please do let us know!
September

We have had the pleasure of
filming a
music video for London band MellowSun, lead by brothers Joe and Phil
Gooch. Filmed entirely in Brighton it was shot at mostly 60fps to allow
for slow motion filming -but also meaning the singing had to be at 240%
speed.
It
was also an opportunity to try out a new piece of
equipment -dolly and track, which we found most useful.
December
30, 2007 We are pleased to release a
'teaser' for the short comedy film Tenacity.
It is presently in post-production, being edited at 24fps in HD, with
Dolby Digital 5.1 surround sound, due for release early 2008.
To
view the teaser, click on the logo or Quicktime link below:

photos and more information coming soon.
